Brief Story About Omama Blackman
Omama Blackman is a gifted Ghanaian song writer and natural singer who is blessed with inspirational songs. He hopes for a better world through the power of music and he has what it takes to be called a super star ambitiously launching his career in world music and the international reggae circles. He has four albums to his credit and each is a ten-track loaded including his maiden album ‘Jehovah’, and concurrent three albums ‘Glory to Jah’ a reggae album, ‘Meye Obibini’ a contemporary highlife, and ‘Our music for the world’ for world music set for release in year 2024. The albums contain songs of diverse rhythms including jazz, spiritual, chant, highlife, palm wine guitar music, reggae, salsa, funky, contemporary Afro pop, Afro beat etc. He is a potential headline artist for any international music festival and with the support of a band he will give music fans the best of amazing variations of rhythms. As a charismatic stage performer Omama Blackman had his maiden concert in Kumasi backed by ONE HUMANITY band and the event was sponsored by the French Embassy and Alliance Francaise.
He works as senior researcher at the copyright office of Ghana under the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General. He is arts writer and World Intellectual Property academy trained in Intellectual property subjects including copyright, Collective Management organisations, Trademark, patent, Genetic resources in the life sciences, IP management, Traditional knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions etc.
